Online registration for the 19th annual Paris to Ancaster Bicycle Race (P2A) closes Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 11:59 PM. To register for the 60km race, the 35km race, or the Sprockids Course, visit parisancaster.com, select the “Register” tab at the top of the page, choose which race you would like to enter, and fill in the appropriate form. After Wednesday at midnight, anyone interested in riding in the race can register in person at the Ancaster Community Centre from noon to 5pm. Also taking place on Saturday will be the P2A Pre-Ride, where noted rider Aaron Schooler will take participants on a partial tour of the course and provide a coaching seminar for how best to tackle one of southern Ontario’s toughest courses. Schooler is an Alberta-based rider who is a four-time provincial cyclocross champion, a three-time national cyclocross team member, and is a serious contender for this year’s P2A title.
