Cycling Canada is seeking physically literate women and men with the ambition to excel as cyclists, to take part in the Pedal to the Medal Talent ID Initiative (P2M-TID). The P2M-TID is open to anyone in Canada who will be is 16 or over on Dec. 31, 2014. In particular, there is an immediate need for women with the athletic aptitude to make an immediate impact in cycling.

The P2M-TID testing protocol, to be run at various Canadian Sport Institutes nationwide, consists of three physical tests to help identify cycling-specific attributes. The tests are: vertical jump, six-second maximum power, and three-minute critical power. Candidates can expect to spend between 45 to 60 minutes in testing.

Those interested in participating in Cycling Canada's P2M-TID initiative should fill out the form found Here and send it via email to: TalentID@cyclingcanada.ca. Following a review of the information, eligible athletes will be contacted to set up a testing time at the appropriate location.
