May 25/16 5:33 am - Last Chance to Register for Gran Fondo Mont-Tremblant

Posted by Editor on 05/25/16

Thousands of cyclists will be in Mont-Tremblant this coming weekend for the fourth edition of the Gran Fondo Mont-Tremblant. The organizing committee is putting the finishing touches on the four courses, which range from 45 km to 160 km, to ensure that riders enjoy the best possible conditions. The event can accommodate up to 2,000 participants and is almost sold out.

"The word has spread and we will be welcoming participants from across Canada and even from the United States," said Simon St-Arnaud, GFMT producer. "This has become an unmissable event to open the cycling season and appears to be a winning formula for a great number of cycling fans."

There are only 200 spots left and still time to sign up for the event. Online registration is open until Friday (May 27th) at Noon at www.granfondotremblant.ca. After that time, you can register upon arrival.

The complete program of events is available Here. Some of the highlights include:

• The Devinci Sunset Ride, on Friday night, expects several hundred cyclists to join event ambassadors Sébastien Delorme and David Veilleux in a pre-event warm-up ride.
• More than 20 industry kiosks will be open starting on Friday afternoon to feature the latest products and accessories for 2016. This is a great opportunity to shop and get ready for the season.
• Cocktails, official dinner, music and activities are on the program.
• The Sunday morning Coffee Ride takes place with the GFMT organizing committee members.

The Gran Fondo Mont-Tremblant, May 27th to 29th, is a unique occasion to enjoy a weekend of cycling and discover the region's many scenic bike routes. See all the routes at mont-tremblant.ca.
