What is the role?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to continue to build on our success. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer / Secretary General (CEO) will lead the overall operation and administration of Cycling Canada. The CEO will focus on our Strategic Imperatives to move the organization forward. One of the major goals for the CEO is to pursue world-class results by leading high performance programs and enabling the development of athletes and the sport of cycling in addition to increasing and diversifying our funding sources.

How you may fit
This is an exciting opportunity for you as an exceptional senior leader if you possess a Bachelor degree, ideally with a Master's in Sport Management, Business Administration or related advanced degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition, you will possess a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible management experience and at least three years at the senior management level. As a strategic thinker, you are a dedicated professional and self-starter. You have demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and multi-tasked environment with an emphasis on time lines and delivery. You have experience cultivating a high performance organization by motivating and supporting staff. You also possess a proven track record in funds development as well as building and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders. You are a leader who is passionate about sport and you are equally comfortable in the boardroom and at site venues. In addition, you have strong business writing, presentation and verbal communication skills in English and preferably also in French.
