Allison Beveridge is one of three women on our ballot for the 2017 Canadian Cyclist of the Year Award. Allison, out of Calgary, Alberta, and racing for Rally Cycling, had a very strong 2017 season on both the road and the track. On the road, she became the national road champion, as well as finishing third in the ITT stage of the Cascade Cycling Classic. Allison is also a member of Canada's Rio bronze medal winning Team Pursuit squad from 2016, and in 2017 she has become one of the anchors of the team, as well as Canada's top Omnium rider. The Team Pursuit squad with Allison took gold and silver medals in World Cup competition, with Allison also winning an individual silver medal in the Omnium at the World Cup in Milton. Allison is also the Omnium and Team Pursuit national champion. Below are video interviews with Allison from the Road Nationals and the Milton World Cup.
