September 15/20 10:23 am - Final Rounds of BMX Supercross World Cup Cancelled

Posted by Editor on 09/15/20

The final two rounds of the BMX Supercross World Cup, scheduled for Rock Hill (USA) on November 6-7, have been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Only the first two rounds for women and first three rounds for men took place this year in Australia (in February), so the final World Cup standings are based on those events.

For the women, Alise Willoughby (USA) won the overall title. Drew Mechielsen was the top Canadian in 35th place, followed by Molly Simpson in 38th and Daina Tuchscherer in 39th.

In the men's series, Connor Fields (USA) was the overall winner, with the only Canadian participant, James Palmer, finishing 31st.
