The Peterborough Cycling Club and the Harold Town MTB Centre Needs Your Support!

We are pleased to announce that the plans for the Harold Town MTB Centre are moving forward. The property is based on 300+ acres of land east of Peterborough at an old ski hill owned by the Ontario Regional Conservation Authority (ORCA). Currently, there is an unsigned lease agreement, which is waiting for public input on the land. The month long public announcement period will allow all those in favour and all those against the project to voice their concerns. The PCC is asking the greater cycling community to voice their support of the project in letter form to be sent to the following∑

Terry Low
Otonabee River Conservation Authority
250 Milroy Drive
Peterborough, ON
K9H 7M9

Feel free to send us your letters via email to info@peterboroughcyclingclub.com. All letters will be forwarded to Mr. Low and ORCA at the deadline on Tuesday, March 14th. To read the related media, please follow this link www.peterboroughcyclingclub.com Note this is a pdf..

The PCC feels strongly that this project will strengthen the mountain biking community while protecting a key piece of recreational property in the Peterborough area. Please take the time to read the announcement and send your support of the project to the Otonabee Regional Conservation Authority.

We thank you in advance for your support.

The Peterborough Cycling Club Executive and its Members.
