Report by Alex Korten

I had two races this past weekend, both in Holland. Saturday was a 60km crit that was very fast, it was also very cold. For some reason my legs weren't feeling the best but I managed to finish taking 21st.

I had a much better race on Sunday, again a 60km crit but a course that I liked better. I jumped, along with 4 other guys, with 2 laps to go but they sat up right away, but I decided to keep going solo. I put a gap of about 15-20 seconds on the pack and it stayed like that closing slowly until about 700m to the line when I was joined another kid who had broken away with about 2km to go.

We raced to the line but my legs were a bit more worn from being out longer and he took me in the sprint. By the time we got to the line the peloton had caught us but I stayed ahead by a wheel length. So a good race for me. For pictures of our races you can go here www.wielerpunt.com my race was Luttenberg
