Tour de Gironde France

Dominique Rollin was 9th in yesterday's Stage 1 of the Tour de Gironde. Francois Parisien, National RR champion was very active during the race, initiating a number of attacks. At 20 km a flat while in the early break meant a return to the peloton. At 50 km Parisien contended for an intermediate sprint and took 2nd for bonus points. Shortly after was part of another group off the front that had nearly a minute gap on the main peloton. But other members of the break did not want to work and were brought back.
