Canadian Takes Bronze at Road World's

The German junior Trixi Worrack is the first champion of the 1998 World Cycling Championships. However, Canada's Geneviève Jeanson finished third in the Junior Women's 15.2 kilometre individual time trial. We can expect more great things from Jeanson in the road race (and she is only a first year Junior...).

1. Worrack Trixi (Ger) 23:22.70
2. Zabelinskaja Olga (Rus) 23:28.15 at 5.44 seconds
3. Jeanson Genevieve (Canada) 23:46.76 at 23.35
4. Basten Evelien (Ned) 23:47.76 at 25.06
5. Czynszak Dorota (Pol) 23:52.44 at 29.74
