Sydor Injured
We just received word from Colorado that Alison Sydor has crashed and re-injured the shoulder (left) that she hurt at the Norba race in Red Wing, Minnesota. It seems to be hurt more seriously than last time, and at this point it looks like she will not be racing in the Vail World Cup this weekend. Apparently she was training on the course and crashed at an unmarked bridge. Alison complained to the officials - who apparently knew about the problem but had not had it fixed (UCI regulations say that a World Cup course has to be marked 5 days before the event).
