Le Défi Québec-Forestville is first of all a unique sporting event which aims to focus attention on athletes who perform 'Au Naturel' without drugs; an recent initiative speaheaded by the Fédération Québécoise des Sports Cyclistes.

Le Défi Québec-Forestville is also 315 km of cycling in a single day, on roads that can rival those of the Tour de France. In 10 hours and 150 000 wheel turns at 30 Kmph fifteen cyclists ride with the unified goal to complete the event for the beauty of clean cycling.

The event takes place September 23rd, starting at 5:00 am. Present in the pack to support the FQSC's 'Roulez Gagnants au Naturel' programme will be Lyne Bessette and Raphaêl Gagné. The other participants will be: Mathieu Bélanger and Charles Blanchet of Lac-Beauport, Antoine Caron and Julien Marceau of Stoneham, Jonathan Pageau of Tewkesbury, Dominic Hamel of Saint-Nicolas, Pascal Dumaresq, Louis-Rémy Marier and Jean-Francois Vennes of Québec, Michel Bujold of La Tuque and lastly David Sirois and Simon Thériault of Forestville, some of whom will be riding the event for the third time.
