Sport Events Congress is the largest annual gathering of representatives from national/multi-sport and major games organizations, event rights holders, convention and visitors bureaus, economic development agencies, parks and recreation departments, industry suppliers and corporate sponsors. The Congress features an outstanding variety of business-to-business, networking and topical educational activities.

CSTA is pleased to announce that the Hilton Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, Quebec will be the host venue for 2007 Sport Events Congress. This five-star urban resort located only minutes from downtown Ottawa offers delegates the opportunity to experience the casino, live theatre, spa, health club, heated indoor and outdoor pools, walking/biking trails, cigar lounge and more! All meetings will take place in the ultra-modern conference centre connected to the hotel and a revised conference schedule and format will allow delegates more free time to network, socialize and enjoy the hotel amenities. Visit www.canadiansporttourism.com for more details about the Congress. On-line registration opens in November. Early bird rates will be in effect until January.

The single most important sport events conference in Canada for industry professionals is coming to Canada's capital region in April. Reserve April 2-4, 2007 on your calendar now!
