Agenda:

1:00 pm Motivation Through Goal Setting by Denise Kelly

Denise is currently the Ontario Provincial Team Road Coach. She coached Team Ontario to it's best ever finish at the 2005 Canada Summer Games and 2006 National Championships. Denise is a level 4 NCCP coach and has coached Provincial, Canada Games and National Champions.

2:00 pm Resistance Training for Cycling - Practical Guidelines for Program Design by Neil Ross

Neil is the Head Coach at the Hamiton National Training Centre. Neil is a level 4 NCCP Coach and holds both a Masters Degree in Science and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Neil has coached numerous National and provincial team athletes that have competed successfully at World Championships.

2:45 pm Rider Recruitment and Development Programs by Rob Good

Rob is the heart and soul behind the success of the Forest City Velodrome. He is responsible for the large growth of track cycling in Ontario and bringing many many juniors, cadets and Velokids into cycling.

3:30 pm Lactic Acid and High Performance Sport: Myths, Methods and Misconceptions by Graydon Raymer

Graydon is a PhD candidate in Medical Bio Physics at UWO. He holds a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology. Graydon competes on the Road as a Senior 1/2 and is a Pro Elite MTB Athlete. He still finds the time to coach several athletes, putting his theoretical knowledge into practice.

4:30 pm National Cycling Centres in Canada and the Role of the National Cycling Centre Hamilton in Ontario by Neil Ross
