Masters Worlds in Canada!

We've been sitting on this one for a couple of days until it became official today, but now we can announce it: Bromont, Québec is the site of the 1999 Mountain Bike World Masters Championships. The scheduled dates are September 2-4, 1999. Bromont will also have an option to hold the event in 2000 and 2001.

In other UCI decisions announced after meetings at the `Cross Worlds today - Vail will get the 2001 Mountain Bike World Championships (and may move them up to June) and Zolder, Belgium gets the 2002 Cyclo-cross Worlds. Finally, the UCI has cautiously agreed to consider holding a womens category at the `Cross Worlds in 2000 (St Michielsgestel, Netherlands), assuming that there is enough interest.
