Natural Earth Racing is pleased to announce its roster of riders and sponsors for the 2007 season. Following the most successful season in its 10-year history, Natural Earth Racing has bolstered its roster with some serious podium potential. With the demographics of mountain bike racing shifting toward the Masters categories, we have chosen to field a team that reflects this trend.

New riders for 2007 include 3-time Masters World Champion Nels Guloien; whose passion for life and sport is inspiring both on and off the bike. Also joining the team is 2007 Masters Canadian National Champion David Kvick. David's other accomplishments include two Swedish Masters National Championships and a gold medal at the World Masters Games in 2005. The husband and wife duo of Judi and Graham Garrison will also join us this season. Judi is coming off a banner season, capturing the National and Provincial championship titles in her category. Graham's season included the Provincial Championship and first overall in the BC rider ranking for Masters Men 40-44.

Returning this season is Susan Weston who earned a Silver Medal at Masters Nationals and a Bronze Medal at the Masters World Championships. Also returning is Lucas Fennell who had a 1st place finish at BC Cup #1 in Merritt and a 4th place finish on Stage 7 of the TransRockies. Heather King will make the transition from the Pro ranks to Masters for the 2007 season. Heather is also looking forward to the Canadian Off Road Triathlon Championships, which will be held in B.C. this fall.

Although Natural Earth Racing has opted to field a primarily Master's Cycling team, we have not lost sight of our responsibility to mentor new athletes. With this in mind, we will include two roster positions for developing athletes. Development riders are chosen based on their ability to be positive role models as well cycling ability. This season, Ryan Jeans and Carsten Ivany will fill these positions.

Paul Craig will handle managing duties again this season. Paul has been very busy over the winter signing new riders and working with our sponsors. Paul also takes an active roll racing on the team. Last season saw him compete in over 20 races including a 4th place finish on Stage 7 of the TransRockies with teammate Luke.
Sponsors for 2007 are: Natures Sunshine, Kicking Horse Coffee, Golden Ears Orthopaedic & Sports Physiotherapist Corp, Local Ride Bike Shop, Giant Bikes, ATAC Sportswear, Rudy Project
