It's just over two weeks away. The start of the MS London Six-Day begins March 23.
Local MS Fundraising chairperson Sharon Mann and Forest City Velodrome President Rob Good have developed a plan that will benefit both not-for-profit associations while giving spectators exciting shoulder to shoulder battles between teams from across the province and the U.S.A.
There has been an overwhelming response from riders wanting to enter. Several riders have just returned from training camps in Arizona, South Carolina and Mexico and will be putting their fitness to the test.
This Saturday, March 10, the Forest City Velodrome will be having a special training-selection night for the riders starting at 6pm. Team selections will be finalized based on performances. Due to the number of responses the event will include two separate race divisions with 5 or 6 teams each.
Forest City, soon to celebrate its second anniversary, has hosted 3 previous successful six-day events but this is shaping up to be the most exciting, competitive yet.
