Fifth Annual Harris Roubaix ˆ CVC & Atomic's Sunday in Hell

The FloraGLO Lutein, BC Cup Series, kicks off in less than a month, on Sunday, April 15th, with the 2007 Harris-Roubaix CVC & Atomic's Sunday in Hell. The four-race Harris-Roubaix promises to test not only a rider's strength, stamina and determination, but also guarantees to push machinery to its limits.

The BC Cup Series is a high-performance cycling championship which awards points to the top 15 racers at eight events around BC. The Series is a stepping-stone to National and International competition, fostering the growth and development of BC's racers by providing athletes with high caliber competition, and providing the opportunity to develop both physical and psychological racing skills in a unique Series format.

BC Cup #1, Harris-Roubaix CVC & Atomic's Sunday in Hell , is modeled closely after the infamous Paris-Roubaix. The race is one of the most grueling, flat road races in British Columbia, featuring a 9.5 Km course with two sections of gravel or pavé. Over 220 riders participated in last years 2006 Classic, bringing out top caliber riders, including riders from Canada's preimer pro team, Symmetrics Cycling.
