4th Annual Race to be held on Canada Day, July 1st

With just days to go, the preparations are nearly complete for this year‚s fourth edition of the Haywood Yaletown Grand Prix. With the promise of blue skies in the forecast, all is set for another great day of bike racing in Downtown Vancouver.

Racers should note that early sign-on and packet pickup will be offered from 5-7pm on Saturday evening at the Yaletown Brewing Company, located at 1111 Mainland StreetËœright on the first corner of the racecourse. Due to ongoing construction, raceday sign-on and registration has been moved in front of MINI Yaletown on Mainland St. adjacent to the new Team Area.

The Yaletown Brewing Company Pub will be the location of the race afterparty this year. With a number of draw and raffle prizes on offer along with racer specials on beer, there‚s no reason not to sick around for the best race afterparty around. Each racer gets a free ticket to the party and extra tickets will be available on raceday.

Again, this year the Haywood Yaletown Grand Prix will host a variety of events to raise money for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Vancouver who deliver a wide range of health, educational and recreational services to over 6000 local children annually.
