Dukes Epic 8 Hour Summer Relay

Saturday July 21st at Hardwood Hills

The course for the Dukes Epic 8 Hour Summer Relay on Saturday July 21 at Hardwood Hills, is now marked and open for pre-riding. The 9.5 km course includes many of the favorite sections of the "Wilderness Trail" system at Hardwood Hills offering nicely rolling double track, with a few technical challenges thrown in. This course received rave reviews during the Fall Epic 8 Hour, and was the favorite section of past 24 hr races.

Pre-riding is available during regular Hardwood Hills hours of operation only, and regular trail fees apply.

The Epic 8 Hour Relay is all about the camaraderie, sportsmanship and the gritty, hard-core enjoyment of riding with friends. The Epic 8 Hour relay is a personal and team challenge to complete as many laps as possible. Whether riding just for fun, or vying for a podium spot in your category, the Epic 8 Hour will be a memorable experience. As Ontario's premier Mountain Bike destination, and with over 70 km's of MTB trails to choose from, Hardwood Hills provides the best in trails and support for riders.

The Epic 8 Hour will be timed using the proprietary Chico Racing Chip Timing system, famous from the Chico Racing 24 HR events, to ensure accurate and instantaneous results.

Prizes
There are Medals for top 3 teams in each category, Draw Prizes for all riders, and a Grand Draw Prize of a KONA Cyclocross bike for one lucky rider.
