This Sunday is the last chance for Island Racers to get out and do some training and racing for our unusually-early National Championships slated for the weekend after this one.

Cowichan Exhibition Grounds - 5855 Clements St, Duncan BC

• Registration: 10:15-1:00 (up to 20mins before your race)
• Course open for pre-riding: 10:00-10:45am.
• 10:30 PRE-RIDE the race course with Kona-Your Key Mortgage rider: Wendy Simms
• Beginner:10:45-11:15 (Race time approx. 30 minutes for 1st person).

Separate starts for each category. There will be enough course to accommodate everyone. Separate prizing as well.

• Course open for pre-riding 10:45-11:30
• Intermediate: 11:30 to 12:15 (Race time approx. 45 minutes for 1st person)
• Course open for pre-riding: 12:15-1:00
• 12:30 Awards for Beginner and Intermediate
• Women and Masters: 1:00-1:45 - Separate starts for each category (Race time approximately 50 minutes for 1st person)
• Course open for pre-riding, 1:45-2:15pm
• Expert: 2:10-3:10 (race time will be about 60 minutes for the first person)
• Awards for Women, Masters and Experts following.

Absolutely no pre-riding during other athletes races.
Worth repeating: Absolutely no pre-riding during other athletes races!

From Up-Island:

Start out going SOUTH on TERMINAL AVE / PROVINCIAL ROUTE 1 / PROVINCIAL ROUTE 19A / ISLAND HWY S / TRANS CANADA HWY. Continue to follow PROVINCIAL ROUTE 1 S / TRANS CANADA HWY S.

When you enter Duncan look to your right for the Cowichan Community Centre (World's Largest Hockey Stick) this will be just past the Canadian Tire store on your left.

Turn RIGHT onto JAMES ST. At the Community Centre turn right into the parking lot and drive to the end of the parking lot. Turn left into the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds

From the Mainland via Schwartz Bay Ferry Terminal:

Get off your boat and follow the flow of traffic SOUTH on Hwy 17.

After passing Elk Lake on your right and the exits for Royal Oak Drive and Quadra Street, take the next exit and head WEST onto Mackenzie Boulevard, signed for Nanaimo and Hwy 1.

Follow Hwy 1 up island.

When you enter Duncan look to your left for the Cowichan Community Centre (World's Largest Hockey Stick). The Turn off will be the next street after the Ford and Dodge auto dealers.

Turn LEFT onto JAMES ST. At the Community Centre turn right into the parking lot and drive to the end of the parking lot. Turn left into the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds

From Victoria:

Start out going NORTH on DOUGLAS ST / PROVINCIAL ROUTE 1 / TRANS CANADA HWY. Continue to follow PROVINCIAL ROUTE 1 N / TRANS CANADA HWY N

Follow Hwy 1 up island.

When you enter Duncan look to your left for the Cowichan Community Centre (World's Largest Hockey Stick). The Turn off will be the next street after the Ford and Dodge auto dealers.

Turn LEFT onto JAMES ST. At the Community Centre turn right into the parking lot and drive to the end of the parking lot. Turn left into the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds
