The Ontario Cycling Association presents a weekend dedicated to transforming our kid's futures with two exciting events where everyone is invited.

Widely known as the 'Two Wheeled Approach to Self Esteem', SPROCKIDS teaches more than just mountain biking skills. Cycling has all the elements young people are drawn to. It provides a positive focus for our youth, and brings communities together around the benefits of cycling. This program focuses on all the positive aspects that we hope to instill in young people, and the catalyst is mountain biking.

Shaping the Future of our Kids - Sprockids Symposium

On Saturday, April 5th, Sprockids inventor Doug Detwiller will be speaking about the history and purpose for his creation of the Sprockids program. Doug will also comment on the current issues that our youth face and how sport and Sprockids can work to address them.

With the announcement this year of the program control returning to Doug from the CCA, Sprockids is in a transitional year for 2008. This is your chance to help shape the future of Sprockids in Ontario as well as the rest of the country.

Learn how easy it is to start a program in your community and the impact it can have on the kids.

This is an exciting milestone in the growth of Sprockids in Ontario and you can have a direct impact at this interactive forum.

Open to everyone, parents, teachers, youth workers, community leaders ... anyone interested in making a difference with kids.

We will be having a draw for Sprockids gear including the popular new Sprockids leader's jersey.
