Cervélo & Rocky Mtn Roll Out Demo Programs

Cervélo Debuts North American éRide Test Program

éRide, Cervélo's test ride program, debuts Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Redlands Classic in California. éRide will then continue across the US and Canada, making stops at Cervélo dealers and cycling events until the end of July, (visit www.cervelo.com/eride for schedule).

éRide will offer consumers the opportunity to experience for themselves what the Cervélo ride is all about. Consumers will be able to choose the Cervélo model of their choice for a test ride from the fleet of models available at each of the éRide locations. They will also benefit from the advice and product knowledge of attending Cervélo staff and their local dealer in determining the right model and size for them. Some locations will also feature special workshops.

"We have found that the more educated consumers are, the bigger the chance they will choose a Cervélo. By giving people the chance to interact directly with Cervélo personnel, try our bikes, attend workshops and get their questions answered, we hope to enable people to make a better-informed decision." said Gerard Vroomen, co-founder of Cervélo. "At the same time as our customers learn more about Cervélo, we also learn more about them and will be able to satisfy their needs even better with future models. It's a true win-win situation."

Rocky Mountain Bicycles, who since 1981 has been known as a high performance bicycles manufacturer, has announced the kick-off of their first official United States/B.C. demo tour. They have packed a Dodge Sprinter full of bikes and hired Thane Hall to be driver/mechanic for the 2008 season. While the demo tour will be at large events like the MTBR Spring Fling, Sea Otter, Fruita Fat Tires Festival, Downieville, Crankworx Colorado and Kokanee Crankworx in Whistler, it will also be showing up at your favorite local trailheads and independent bicycle shops.

Be sure to check out their new promotional website, www.RockyDemoTour.com, and see when they will be in your area. Also, while you are there check out the videos, gallery and blogs from all the events. In addition to the official "demo tour" the new web site will soon include dates of regular shop demos all around the country.

"This demo tour is really an answer to high demand from customers, shops, and our reps. We firmly believe that this is the best marketing approach in today's competitive market; we have worked hard and we are really excited!", said John Olden, Rocky Mountain Bicycles US Sales Manager.

Rocky Mountain Bicycles has always been committed to excellence in both products and service provided. We are constantly working to improve every aspect of our business. For more information about Rocky Mountain Bicycles, visit www.bikes.com and www.RockyDemoTour.com.
