West Coast Racing to Host Cycling BC Youth Team Night

Calling all mountain bike riders aged 11-16! West Coast Racing is partnering with Cycling BC and Ambleside Cycle to host its first annual Youth Team Night. This is your chance to explore the trails alongside some of BC’s top expert and elite racers and coaches!

Date: Tuesday April 29, 2008

Time: Sign-on starts at 5:45pm. Event runs from 6:00pm-7:30pm

Location: North Road Trails at Burnaby Mountain. Visit westcoastracing.ca for map and directions. Parking is North of Chapman on North Road.

Cost: FREE for those who have Cycling BC insurance. If you do not already have Cycling BC insurance, you will need to pay a one-time $30 fee for insurance, payable at the event (cash or cheque only please) and have a parent/legal guardian sign a waiver and participation form. This insurance is good for the year, so you will be covered for any future Cycling BC club events in 2008.

Drinks, light snacks and prizes will be provided for all participants.

Boys and girls of all ability levels are welcome – we will group you according to skill.

What you need to do:

Sign up before Friday April 25, 2008 at 6:00pm by sending an email to , indicating your name and age.

Bring your bike, helmet and be ready for some fun!

West Coast Racing is a volunteer-run community cycling club that runs various outdoor and indoor cycling programs year-round for mountain bikers, road riders, and cyclocrossers. West Coast Racing has hosted the Vanier Park Cyclocross Classic for several years and is proud to be presenting the inaugural Cardiac Classic Bike Fest and BC Cup Mountain Bike Race this July at Burnaby Mountain.
