Unicycle Marathon & DH Gosau, Austria For those of you bored with the same-old, same-old of two wheeled competition, the Salzkammergut Trophy people are offering a Marathon (new for this year) Downhill for Unicycles. Be sure to update all insurance, your will, etc. before leaving for Austria... (Note: They refer to Unicycles as Munis) July 13, 2008 in Gosau So besides the Muni Marathon - for the first time there is going to be a Muni downhill competition at the Salzkammergut Trophy! The Gosaukammbahn takes you to the Zwieselalm at an elevation of 1,587 meters. After a mass start, a 3.5 kilometer long downhill with more than 750 meters altitude difference along hiking trails and ski slopes will be tackled! Categories U15 male General rating male General rating female Equipment/Regulations • The wearing of a helmet, gloves and knee pads is obligatory! • All frame sizes are permitted, we recommend 24" Munis • No running! • The unicycle must be pushed when walking • No more than 10 meters at a stretch may be walked • The regulations of the International Unicycling Federation (IUF) apply.
