Just Giver SuperCycle 2008!

Come out and show support in the fight against Parkinson's, while riding with our special guest riders, former cycling pros Alex Stieda and Axel Merckx.

What is it?
The Just Giver SuperCycle is a mass charity ride meant to kick off a further seven-day journey from Vancouver to Cranbrook, BC. While only six riders will be completing the whole ride to Cranbrook, the SuperCycle gives the general public the opportunity to complete a 100 kilometer ride, which will help raise funds and awareness for Parkinson's disease.

Joining the Just Giver team for the SuperCycle will be former Canadian professional Alex Stieda, the first North American to wear the yellow jersey in the Tour de France; and former Belgian professional rider Axel Merckx, son of the great Eddy Merckx. We are honored to have Alex, Axel, and their families join us for the SuperCycle, along with two-time Penticton Ironman athlete Barbara Dortch, a Parkinson's sufferer who will be racing in Ironman Canada for the third time this summer.
