Mathieu Toulouse Retires

After a long reflection period, I have decided to put an end to my cycling career. While I am still passionate about cycling, and will surely miss the exhilaration of competition, it has become clear that I am ready to move on. Winning an NMBS event this year was a great way to end on a good note. I will now take on new challenges, which include managing avelocoaching.com, a personal training company I recently co-founded, as well as heading back to school for a Master's degree, something I've wanted to do for years.

Many people have helped me during my career and I am forever indebted to them, but I want to extend a special thanks to everyone on Team Maxxis, who have helped make the last four years the best ones.
