We have preliminary results from the Men's and Women's Downhill at the Pan Am Championships in Santiago, Chile. Chris Van Dine of the U.S. is the Continental Champion, with Markolf Berchtold (Brazil) second and Pedro Ferreira (Chile) third. There are no Canadians competing.

In the Women's race, Diana Margraff (Ecuador) won, with Veronica Miranada (Chile) second and Rachel Bauer (USA) third.
