Saturday May 23rd  Valemount Secondary School will be hosting the 11th Annual BC high School Mountain Bike Championships. This is the first time ever that the race will take place outside of the south west corner of our Province and we are excited to have the opportunity to be the first!.

Registration is now available via email request from lvanderroest@sd57.bc.ca or through links from this web page: www.visitvalemount.ca (The links from this page will be up and running by the end of this week.).

We will be hosting a Fun Friday Night Criterium and a Dinner Dance Saturday night for the athletes that spend the night Saturday. Sovenier T-shirts are availble through pre-ordering with the registration pack. (Remember all participants must be registered with BC School Sports through their local High School). This is a chance to really ride in the Rockies.

The course, developed locally, is 75% single track and represents the fun that the Rocky Mountains bring to moutain biking. We look forward to hundreds of young people from all over our province testing their skills against each other and getting to see one of the worlds most beautiful places. We are nestled nicely in the valley between three magnificent mountain ranges: The Rockies, Monashees and the Cariboos. Mount Robson is a Stone throw away and Jasper, with all of its National Park trail riding is just over an hour away.
