Lance Armstrong announced via a Twitter posting the birth of his fourth child - the first with his partner of one year, Anna Hansen. Armstrong posted: "Wassup, world? My name is Max Armstrong and I just arrived. My Mommy is healthy and so am I!"

The seven-Tour winner said in a further posting that his son weighed in at seven pounds, five ounces and measured 20 inches in length. He also posted a photo of the newborn.
