June 10/09 10:22 am - Mardis cyclistes de Lachine Season Opener

Posted by Editoress on 06/10/09

Rain and low numbers of participants did not 'dampen" the competition of the season opener of the 32nd Mardis cyclistes de Lachine. Two racers, 18 year old Hugo Houle and veteran Jean- Francois Laroche put on a show battling it out for points and eventually finishing 1-2 at the final time across the line.

Houle will wear the leader's jersey next week when Floyd Landis and his team arrive to test themselves on the roads of Lachine.
