August 23rd, Fort St. John, BC

Sven Svenson rode his first Challenge Cup race as a Blizzard, Sunday, winning the Teepee Creek road race. He had a time of 2:26:00 hours for the 70 km race.

Warren Miller of GP was second at 2:35:41 and Kern Perry of GP was third at 2:35:51. Sam Keats was 4th at 2:39:18 and Francis Plum 5th at 2:41:37. Sandy McDonald was 6th at 2:46:10.

Steve Magusin of GP won the 20 km event at 1:08:00 and Suzi Bach (FSJ) was second at 1:09:38.

Cherie Dunn did 2:14:31 hours for the 40 km distance.

The Blizzards won the day with 31 points to GP’s 27. The Bliz leads the series with 424, GP has 315 and DC has 96 with only 2 race left.
