October 15/09 11:27 am - Garneau Evolution Invites Applications for 2010 Team

Posted by Editoress on 10/15/09

The Vancouver-based Garneau Evolution Men's Team is looking to strengthen its roster for 2010. Now in its sixth year of existence (second as Garneau Evolution), the team continues in its mission to be a pre-eminent youth development road team in the Lower Mainland. GE team was a force in 2009, placing first overall in the Team Classification in the BC Cup overall, a podium in the individual BC Cup overall and compiling numerous top tens and podium places in BC Cup races. We are looking to continue this trend in 2010.

The team is looking to add youth and strength to its squad, and stresses teamwork, commitment, and discipline in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. The team holds structured rides and a team camp, and is supported by team managers, experienced team captains and has the backing of one of the strongest cycling clubs in Canada.

Qualifications:
Riders must be Category 1 or Category 2 licensed racer based in the Lower Mainland area (other areas may be considered). Riders are expected to be committed to team goals and objectives through the 2010 season. Preference will be given to riders under the age of 26, but all are encouraged to apply.

How to Apply:
Interested candidates should contact Team Manager, Jak New (jak_new (at) me.com).

Application Deadline: October 23rd, 2009
