Trisports Cycling p/b Eclipse Racing is pleased to announce the formation of their elite women's team for 2010. US riders include Anna Sanders, Cara Bussell, Kristin Hetzel, Mimi Ford, Sabrina Savage and Tammy Lamb, with Chloe Black and Marilyn McDonald representing Canada, and Kathryn Bertine riding for St. Kitts and Nevis. Trisports.com started the elite cycling team to further the development of women's racing as well as expand their triathlon business into the cycling market. The creation and sponsorship of TriSports Cycling p/b Eclipse Racing complements TriSports.com’s second year commitment to sponsorship of the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team presented by Maxxis.
"For over a decade, Trisports.com has catered to both triathletes and road cyclists," says Seton Claggett, CEO of TriSports.com. "We wanted to show that we're not just here to serve the multisport community, but the cycling community as well." In addition to the men's and women's elite teams, a club team (with over 75 current members) is open for riders of all levels. Trisports Cycling p/b Eclipse Racing will be attending NRC events as well as local Arizona races, and is managed by Scott Blanchard and Tammy Lamb. Additional sponsors include Scott Bicycles, SRAM, Zipp, Vemma, Lazer, XOOD, Tifosi, Area 51, Roadbikerides.com, and Pyramid Coaching. For more information, please visit www.trisportscycling.com.
