We are pleased to be holding the first  Women’s Only event as part of the Preston Street Bicycle races on Sunday June 20 in Ottawa.

This will be the 38th year for the Preston Street races and recent changes to the course and the itinerary have provided the opportunity for a Women Only event.

The race will be on a four corner, 1.0 km circuit with smooth, newly paved roads. It is in the heart of Little Italy and the renovation of Preston Street will mean more restaurant patios and more spectators.

The race will be 45 minutes plus 5 laps. We expect to have many primes while the prize list has not been finalized.

Senior, Master and Junior categories will compete together for the primes and the prizes.

The race will start at 2:00 pm and will be just prior to the Sr. 1,2, Master 1 Men.

We will be posting details as soon as possible at bikeraceottawa.com . Our email address is info@bikeraceottawa.com

We are counting on good support from teams in the National Capital region and hope to see many participants from Southern Ontario and Quebec as well.

Teams that will be participating are asked to contact us so that we can add their names to the race day flyer for the spectators. Race numbers will be pre-assigned where possible.
