SPEEDTHEORY Cycling Team invites you to the Jason Lapierre Memorial Cycling Weekend. in Calgary AB, August 21st and 22nd.

SPEEDTHEORY has a reputation for putting on some of the finest races in Alberta, Canada and we think you should join us!

The weekend consists of three events; a 40km Individual Time Trial, a Criterium and a Road Race.

It’s not often you get to close off streets in a major Canadian city for a bike race so we’re totally stoked to have the criterium in Downtown Calgary.  The Road Race is about 60km (40 miles) north of Calgary near the beautiful town of Sundre overlooking the foothills of the Canadian Rockies.  The Time Trial is held in the scenic prairie town of Acme Alberta (insert road runner joke here).  If you're coming from any distance, do the race but make time to visit.  Banff, Dumheller and other cool places are all close by.

If you are willing, please forward this invitation to the clubs in your area.  If you have any questions, please call Trev Williams 403-831-8738 or email speedtheoryteam@gmail.com  Details of the race will be posted on the speedtheory blog site in the coming weeks.
