August 26/10 11:17 am - Queen's Park Grand Prix Registration Now Open

Race organizer and producer Hello Vélo (hellovelo.ca), Toronto's leading performance cycling boutique, today announced registration is now open for the Masters Men's Race on the Ontario Cycling Association website (ontariocycling.org).

The SPORTSNET.CA Queen's Park Grand Prix will feature three distinct races on the roads circling Queen's Park in Toronto. The first race will be a 60 minute Master's Open Race for amateur men, followed by a 60 km Women's Elite Race and an 85 km Men's Pro Am Race.

Additional details on the Masters race are now available, and registration is open until September 12 via the Ontario Cycling Association at the following link to the OCA's online registration service.

Start time: 8:30 AM
1st place purse: $550
2nd place purse: $350
3rd place purse: $150

$300 will be awarded to the team of the winner, with additional primes contested through the course of the race.

A technical guide for all the races will be available September 1, 2010.
