It is getting down to the wire for Christmas shopping, Domestique1so time to hit your local bike shop for smaller gifts to suit the cycling fanatic in your household. A local example for us is Domestique, the cycling-themed coffe bistro in Dundas, Ontario. We have written about Krys Hines and his labour of love before (see: Domestique-Café Cyclo Sportif - a Cyclist's Place).

Krys has increased his offerings to include Domestique branded socks, coffee mug, mussette bag, t-shirt, cap and jersey ... and, of course, local fair trade coffee. www.cafedomestique.com/Domestique2

Another excellent gift that every self-respecting cyclist should give is a donation to IMBA Canada in the name of the giftee. IMBA Canada (International Mountain Bike Association) is the organization that works on our behalf to educate and lobby landholders to keep open and increase the access to the trails we like to ride. Make a direct donation to the Annual Fund or purchase some of the great IMBA logoed stuff - like socks, caps and jackets - that IMBA offers on their website. Visit IMBA Canada today!
