March 1/11 10:41 am - Homage to Ice Opens Ontario MTB Season

The mountain bike event season gets off to a great start on April 3rd with the Homage to Ice.

Get back on the trail and reconnect with your riding buddies at the first race of the year. Starting at Mansfield Outdoor Centre and heading out to the trails in the surrounding Dufferin County Forest, each 25 kilometre lap is 65% single track. There is just enough double track to pass safely on this fun rolling course, which ends with a two kilometre descent to the finish.

Don't miss this amazing chance to test your early season form and train for the first O-Cups and Canada's first ever 100-mile mountain bike race.

Choose between the 50 kilometre two-lap or 25 kilometre one-lap options on this great course. Hopefully we will get another great 23 degree Celsius day like last year.  Come for the ride, stay for the barbeque!

Register at www.substanceprojects.com or www.ontariocycling.org

A portion of the event's proceeds will go to support the great work being done by IMBA Canada.
