If you would like to gain event planning experience and network with sport and tourism professionals, consider joining the volunteer team for Sport Events Congress 2011! The Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance (CSTA) is looking for keen, responsible volunteers to assist with event-related duties on-site from April 26th to 29th at the Westin Hotel in Ottawa. Duties include registration, trade show coordination, hospitality, awards luncheon coordination, presenter liaison, etc.

All volunteers must be able to commit to a minimum 4-hour shift during the event. Volunteers who commit to 8 hours or more of volunteer time will receive complimentary access to all Congress activities, including sessions, breakfasts and luncheons, hospitality events, PRESTIGE Awards and more. Note that CSTA does not provide any financial assistance for travel or accommodations to and from the event for volunteers, however, all meals will be provided during each shift and parking is provided free of charge.
