Nova Scotia Banquet

The 1999 Mountain Bike Awards Banquet will be held this Tuesday, November 2nd at 7pm. Honey Garlic Buffet, 201 Chain Lake Drive(Bayers Lake Industrial Park). Dress is RETRO. USFC Says No Foreigners at 'Cross Nationals

The United States Cycling Federation has said that they will be up holding rules that do not allow foreign (ie, non-US) licence holders from entering the U.S. cyclo-cross nationals in San Francisco on December 11-12.

This brings up a question: will the Canadian 'Cross Nationals be open (like the Mountain Bike Nationals) or closed? You may remember that there was some confusion at the MTB Nationals about whether American DHer Shaums March should have been allowed to compete.

We don‚t have a problem with increasing the field by allowing non-Canadians to enter, but it would be nice to know...
