The brand new Planet Energy powered by SpiderTech junior team arrives in Niagara this weekend to contest the 10th annual Tour of Pelham Enduro. The six-man squad led by local boy Brandon Etzl will be putting the pressure on two-time champion Nathan Chown (Handlebars), over the undulating 35km course. Chown will be relying on teammates Justin Henri and veteran Johnny Roden to keep the young guns at bay. Throw in veteran hard-man Teddy Ingram (CycleSolutions/Angry Johnny's CC), Canadian Jr Cross champ Ben Perry and the Lapdogs squad and we have ourselves the first OCA battle of the year.
Pre-registration closes tomorrow evening at www.ontariocycling.org, with day-of reg available at a $10 increase. Once again Lake2Lake Events Inc. is pleased to be donating all proceeds to the Canadian Red Cross, Japanese Tsunami Fund.
