CC Awards Update

This will be the final update we provide for the Canadian Cyclist of the Year Awards, before we announce the winners on Thursday evening (December 2nd). After removing duplicate votes, the standings are as follows:

Male Rider - Peter Wedge has a large lead over second place Gord Fraser, with Roland Green a distant third.

Female Rider - Genevieve Jeanson and Alison Sydor are still tied! Former winner Chrissy Redden has moved into third place, but is well back.

Best Individual Performance - This one appears to be all wrapped up by Junior World Champion Genevieve Jeanson. Alison Sydor and Eric Tourville are a distant second and third respectively, but together have approximately half the votes of Jeanson.

Voting is open until Noon, Eastern Time (that's 9:00 am West Coast) on December 2nd. To vote, go HERE.
