Marc Gullickson, the most consistent rider in the SuperCup series, was again top of the podium in the U.S. Men's National Cyclo-cross Championship race earlier today. He led from start to finish, beating his season long rival Bart Bowen. Bowen had to work hard to take second, only overtaking Espoir rider Tim Johnson in the last lap. Our reporter Chris Redden said that the start was everything in this huge field on a short course. Mark and Frank McCormack rounded out the top five.

Tomorrow, the SuperCup final takes place. The course will be slightly different but, unless it rains overnight, should be just as fast. Chrissy Redden will be racing in the women's race.

Our Apologies

Somehow, in our earlier report on the Elita 2000 team, we left off one rider - Cybil DiGuistini (Best Young Rider at the HP this year). Cybil will indeed be back with Elita in 2000.
