Registration Opens for the 2012 RBC GranFondo Kelowna: July 14th, 2012

On the heels of an incredibly successful inaugural RBC GranFondo Kelowna, GranFondo Canada has announced that registration is open for the event in 2012, taking place on July 14, 2012.

1,200 cyclists, along with friends and family came together to make the inaugural 2011 RBC GranFondo Kelowna a resounding success. The route, which took riders along a scenic course, showcased the spectacular sights of the Okanagan, proving to be both challenging and rewarding for riders.

The announcement of the opening of registration for the 2012 event has been met with excitement. Graham MacLachlan, regional president, BC, RBC Royal Bank, and rider in the event, enthusiastically shared, “The 2011 RBC GranFondo Kelowna was an unforgettable experience.” He added, “On behalf of RBC, I would like to thank everyone who helped make the first RBC GranFondo Kelowna such an outstanding event, and we look forward to another exceptional ride in 2012.”
