Canada’s brand new consumer cycling show is kicking into high gear!

VeloSpoke is pleased to announce the addition of two exciting interactive activity zones to the show, sponsored by Delta Hotels and Resorts and Spud.ca.

Held in conjunction with the race package pick-up for the RBC GranFondo Whistler, Canada’s largest mass cycling event, VeloSpoke will take place on September 8 and 9 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

“Our goal is to create a dynamic, unforgettable experience for everyone attending VeloSpoke,” says Mark Lavigne, Show Director, VeloSpoke. “Thanks to the sponsorship and creativity of Delta Hotels and Resorts and Spud.ca, attendees can expect more than the typical consumer show experience. This show will be fun, interactive and educational.”

The Delta Hotels and Resorts Fundo Kids Zone allows attendees to turn VeloSpoke into a family experience. At 400 ft2, this is an area complete with kids’ tables and chairs for families to relax, and a variety of activities including arts and crafts led by Delta representatives. By visiting the Delta Hotels and Resorts Fundo Kids zone, attendees will also have a chance to win numerous hotel stays including a grand prize package of one night stay at Delta Vancouver Suites (pre) and one night stay at the Delta Whistler Village Suites (post) for the 2012 RBC GranFondo Whistler.

The Spud.ca Sprint Station allows attendees to put their speed to the test. In this activity zone, they can race against a friend or against the clock for a chance to win exciting prizes courtesy of Sustainable Produce Urban Delivery, commonly referred to as Spud.ca.

VeloSpoke will have a captivated audience that consists of more than 7,000 GranFondo riders. Open to the public, the show will also attract other local and international cycling enthusiasts.

“Apart from the activity areas, we’re lining-up some great bike brands, lifestyle companies and retailers. The inaugural VeloSpoke is definitely one that the cycling community will not want to miss out on,” adds Lavigne.

VeloSpoke will bring together over 100 exhibitors and brands for an energizing showcase of products and services from top lifestyle and cycling brands.
