October 26/11 13:06 pm - Rob Britton Looking for Team

Posted by Editoress on 10/26/11

Canadian road pro Rob Britton is another victim of the U.S. downturn, when he was not named as a member of the downsized 2012 Bissell cycling team he has ridden for in the past few years. Britton first confirmed the situation with us from Guadalajara, Mexico, where he was competing in the Pan Am Games, but asked us to hold off releasing anything while he worked through some possibilities, however, it is now public knowledge with the release of an interview on a local Victoria television station, on Youtube. The interview can be seen Here.

Britton often flies 'under the radar' compared to more well-known riders such as Ryder Hesjedal and Svein Tuft, however, he has been a very consistent performer in both road races and time trials, finishing fourth at this year's national championships after being 'worked over' by the SpiderTech p/b C10 squad. We wish Rob the best of luck in his search for a new team.
