March 17/12 11:06 am - CC Launches Two Classics Fantasy Contests with Specialized

It is once again time for the Canadian Cyclist Classics Fantasy Tour - Sponsored by Specialized, and this year there are two contests! The traditional men's contest, including all the top one day events, such as Milan-San Remo, Paris-Roubaix and both Canadian WorldTour stops, plus, for the first time, a Women's Classics Tour, which includes Canada's premier women's event, the GP Gatineau.

As always, Specialized Canada has provided fantastic prizes, with the top player in each contest to receive a Specialized bike worth over $2700. In total, over $8500 in prizes will be awarded for the two contests. Intermediate prizes will be awarded at the end of the Spring events to the top two players in each Pool, and overall prizes after the final World Cup event to the top five players in each Pool.

There have been some changes to the rules, so be sure to read them carefully. The most important one is the number of teams you may enter. This year, based on player feedback, we are limiting the number of team entries per person to three (3) per e-mail address used to register AND you need a (free) code to get your second and third entries. Your first team just requires registering for the Pool. To enter two more teams requires visiting your local Specialized Dealer and picking up a postcard with an entry code. The list of Specialized Dealers where you can obtain that code is listed Here. The same code will work for both the Classics and Women's Fantasy Tours, however, you can only register a maximum of three teams for any e-mail address.

The full list of prizes and complete rules can be found on the entry page for each event at the links below. Registration for each contest ends on April 7th at 5:00 pm EST.

Good luck!
