Camp Fortune Races Underway

Peter Suderman, the race organizer from Camp Fortune, has just called in to report on the start of the Elite cross-country Quebec Cup races. The riders are racing last year's Nationals course. Peter reports that Eric Tourville (Oryx) was leading Bill Hurley up the first climb of the 5 lap men's race, with a 1 minute lead of Julian Hine. There was no clear leader in the start of the 4 lap women's race. The weather conditions are perfect - 18 Celcius and sunny. However, because of the rain that has fallen through the week, the trails are slick. Stay tuned for more news through the day.
