After two events, Canadian pro Emily Batty (Trek Factory Racing) has taken the lead in the women's rankings for the U.S. Pro XCT cross-country series standings. Batty finished third in the first event (Mellow Johnny's Classic) and second in the second event (Bonelli Park). Batty has 375 points, 35 ahead of professional team mate Annie Last, and 75 in front of Chloe Woodruff (Crankbrothers Race Club 11).
In the men's standings, Jeremiah Bishop (SHO Air Cannondale)leads with 450 points, 100 ahead of Todd Wells (Specialized). Raphael Gagne (Rocky Mountain) is the top Canadian, in fifth place with 200 points; all obtained through his second place finish at Bonelli Park. Canadian Antoine Caron (Specialized Canada) is the top U23 rider, in ninth overall with 140 points. There are five Canadian riders in the top-10.
